Polo Beach
Polo Beach is located on Maui’s south shore in Wailea, on the south end of the Wailea beach path. Two crescent shaped white sand beaches are joined in the middle by a small rocky point. Usually, the ocean water is calm and clear here, great for swimming and snorkeling. The north end fronts the Kea Lani Resort and can get crowded with hotel guests. The south end is usually less crowded, where it fronts Polo Beach Club, an ideal mid-rise vacation condo property. There is a public parking lot, restrooms, picnic benches and showers.

Ocean Safety: Please note that many beach photos in Hawaii are taken on calm beach days, which is common here. However, winds, tides, currents, and swells can shift quickly, depending on the weather. There are no lifeguards at this beach. Be sure to check local weather forecasts daily and exercise caution while at the beach.
Note: Sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate are prohibited in Maui, to protect sea life and coral reefs. Be sure to use reef-safe sunscreens to help preserve the island's marine ecosystems.
